I have a product idea in mind and I need 2 simple cut-out stencils/design templates created. I have sheets of material measuring 15″x13″. The material has a rigidity similar to a manila folder. I would like to create 2 stencils; one of a basketball and one of a football. Each ball stencil will be for a separate sheet (i.e. the stencil can utilize the full 15″x13″ area)
I would like to maximize the size of the balls and minimize the wasted material. Therefore the basketball should be circular with a diameter of 12.75 (leave a little wiggle room). The football should be tilted/offset to maximize it’s size. I will leave the dimensions of the football to you to be aesthetically pleasing.
I would also like to keep the material as rigid as possible after it’s been cut. Therefore the design within the outline needs to minimize floppiness/maximize structure while also still being obviously a basketball and football. See the attachments for a rough sketch of what I had in mind.
I would like to chat via phone to clarify intent before work starts. Thanks for reading!
